Our realistic drawing lessons and cartooning lessons are a happy mix of eye-training and hand-training, as well as individual creativity combined with proper pencil technique. Come ready to observe, mimic, create, and bring your creations to life! Lessons cover a span of concepts from sketching and shading realistic animals and landscapes, to drawing popular characters from children's films, cartoons, and games. Acrylic Painting Lessons & Watercolor Lessons (Ages 7 - Adult)

No matter your current level of experience with a brush, or whether or not you know what "burnt umber" means, En Route Academy painting classes are the catalyst for transferring your unique expressions from the brush to the canvas! Our lessons explore concepts such as imagery, composition, value, proportion and dimension, color theory, and proper brush technique. Students with prior experience in acrylics move on to accomplish watercolor techniques in later semesters, or continue their acrylic painting study in order to dive into more advanced techniques and truly master the skill. Both private lessons as well as small group classes are offered. Digital Art Lessons (Ages 12 - Adult • Intermediate Skill Level Required)

Ready to take your refined studio art skills to the screen? If your goal is to illustrate books someday or animate movies using computer graphics, the journey begins here! As our world becomes more and more digitized, digital art is a fantastic way to share your creativity and artistic skills. Our digital art lessons are designed for ambitious older students (ages 12 through adult) with previous art experience in drawing and/or painting, who already have in mind the projects they want to complete or have goals they want to reach. Sound like you? Then bring your imagination and ideas, and we will guide you down the path to your future dreams in digital media!

Private lessons only. Students must already own and bring with them:
• Device that is compatible with digital art software (iPad + Apple Pencil; or Windows Surface Pro + Windows Pencil; etc.)
• Digital art software already downloaded on the device (we recommend Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint, or Photoshop, or Krita)
