MUSIC THEORY CAMP

JUlY 27-29, 1:00pm - 4:00pm daily

Designed to prepare mid-elementary-beginner-level to late-elementary-level students for their music lessons when the school year starts, our beginners music theory camp at En Route Academy covers music theory basics in creative ways with super FUN games and activities! 🎶 Your kids will learn/review note values, rhythm, treble and bass clefs, reading notes on the staff, how to properly write notes on the staff, and more—all with one of our professional music instructors. All supplies are included, plus cupcakes on the last day! 🧁 This camp is kept within a small age range (7-10 years old), allowing for age-appropriate learning.

WHOM THIS IS FOR:
This camp is designed for (1) students with no experience at all AND (2) students who have taken lessons before but took a break from lessons and are starting to forget what they’ve learned (we highly recommend reviewing music theory before starting lessons again, to help students more easily pick up where they left off). Ages 7-10, beginners through late-elementary levels only.

WHAT STUDENTS GAIN:
9 hours total of intensive music theory training with a professional music teacher! A better understanding of music and a preparedness for private music lessons starting in the fall!

CURRENT-STUDENT DISCOUNT:
6.5% off the camp fee (must be taking weekly lessons during the Spring or Summer Semesters of this current year)

SIBLING DISCOUNT:
10% off the camp fee for each additional sibling

FOSTER CHILD DISCOUNT:
10% off the camp fee with appropriate documents as proof
